The Regenda Group - (August 2007)
Three years ago North West housing association, Regenda, took the decision to put in place a development and training programme for senior managers. The aim was to develop the leadership skills of their key people.  The business had already identified nine core competencies as the benchmark and focus for improvement.

BAE Systems - (August 2007)
The Eurofighter Typhoon is the main fighter aircraft for the RAF squadrons. It started life in the early 1980s when it was developed to take over from the Tornado. Built on a multi-partner basis, with British, Spanish, German and Italian teams all involved, it is regarded as being one of the best fighter aircrafts in the world.

Oscar Pet Foods - (July 2008)
Oscars is a family run pet food business that, in 1993, started its own franchise operation. The Oscars franchisees don’t simply sell pet food; they are also able to offer nutritional advice to pet owners. Over the last 15 years, the franchise business has expanded across the country and now the company boasts a national network of local Oscar nutritional advisors offering friendly, expert advice with the aim of making life easier for pet owners.

St Bede’s Catholic High School - (January 2009)
St Bede’s Catholic High School in Ormskirk is a specialist arts college with over 700 pupils. It has an excellent reputation among the local community, but in recent months the school has undergone huge changes in its management structure, bringing in a number of key personnel. Richard Varey became head of St Bede’s 18 months ago. One of his first tasks was to restructure the school to reflect the Government’s recent Teaching and Learning agenda, while at the same time maintaining the school’s well-earned reputation for high achieving.

BAE Development Centres - (September 2009)
Having started life in the early 1980s when it was developed to take over from the Tornado, the Eurofighter Typhoon is the main fighter aircraft for the RAF squadrons. Typhoon has now merged with other parts of the business and also includes Tornado and Hawk aeroplane — a workforce of some 6,000.

Based in Salmesbury, Lancashire, BAE Systems Integrated Services division employs more than 4,000 people manufacturing aircraft parts. BAE Systems has a world class reputation for its technologically advanced engineering in the hi-tech aerospace sector but in 2008 the company recognised that it could make improvements to its customer service. In 2009 Graeme Hall was appointed Training Manager for Service Excellence; he was tasked with looking at how the Integrated Systems division could boost
